Sedans start at $200/week; small SUVs and vans start at $250/week. All rentals have a one-week minimum. Availability and driver approval apply. Insurance is not included.

We serve gig workers across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk counties. Whether you deliver larger orders, handle catering routes, move packages, or need extra room for work equipment, a van may give you the flexibility that a small car cannot.

Weekly Van Rentals Built for Gig Work

A van can be a practical choice when your work depends on cargo capacity. Drivers working with delivery and courier apps often need room for stacked orders, insulated bags, packages, or bulky items. MyTampaCars focuses on longer-term weekly rentals so approved drivers can use one vehicle consistently instead of searching for a different daily rental every few days.

Who Our Tampa Bay Van Rentals Are For

Our van rentals are designed for eligible independent contractors and gig workers who need a vehicle for app-based income. Depending on the vehicle and the rules of the platform, that may include work connected with Uber Eats, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, Instacart, Walmart Spark, courier services, catering delivery, and other approved gig platforms.

Each platform sets its own vehicle, age, insurance, inspection, background-check, and driver requirements. Renting a vehicle from MyTampaCars does not guarantee that a driver or vehicle will be approved by any platform. Drivers should verify current platform requirements before applying or booking.

How the Rental Process Works

  1. Tell us about your work. Share the gig platform you use or plan to use and the type of vehicle you need.
  2. Complete the driver review. We confirm basic eligibility, license information, intended use, and other rental requirements.
  3. Verify platform and insurance requirements. The driver is responsible for meeting platform rules and obtaining acceptable insurance because insurance is not included.
  4. Review available vans. We confirm current inventory, weekly pricing, applicable minimum term, deposit, and pickup details.
  5. Sign the rental agreement. Approved renters review and sign the agreement before receiving a vehicle.
  6. Pick up and inspect the vehicle. The vehicle condition, fuel level, and other pickup details are documented.
