MyTampaCars provides weekly vehicles for qualified rideshare and delivery drivers who need a dependable car to keep working. Vehicle availability changes frequently, so complete the application first and we will contact you about current options.

This rental program is only for active gig workers. It is not for personal use or regular daily transportation.

Choose the Rental Plan That Fits Your Schedule

Sedans start at $200/week; small SUVs and vans start at $250/week. All rentals have a one-week minimum. Availability and driver approval apply. Insurance is not included.

Insurance is not included. A security deposit, applicable taxes, tolls and other agreement charges may apply. Rates and approval remain subject to vehicle availability and driver eligibility.

For Qualified Gig Drivers

• An active, approved Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, Instacart, Spark or similar gig-platform account
• A valid driver license and the required documentation
• Acceptable insurance maintained throughout the rental period
• Gig work in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Polk County
• A one-week minimum rental term and the required deposit and payment

This Program May Not Be a Fit If

• You only need a vehicle for a few days
• You do not have an active, approved gig-platform account
• You cannot maintain the insurance required by the rental agreement
• You plan to operate mainly outside the approved Tampa Bay counties
• You cannot meet the minimum rental term or deposit and payment requirements

How It Works

1. Apply Online

Complete the rental application and provide accurate contact information.

2. Verify Eligibility

We review your driver license, gig-platform account and rental requirements.

3. Confirm Insurance

You provide proof of acceptable coverage. Insurance is not included with the rental.

4. Choose an Available Vehicle

After eligibility is confirmed, choose from the approved vehicles currently available.

5. Complete the Agreement

Sign the rental agreement, submit the required deposit and payment, and review the toll and fee rules.

6. Pick Up and Drive

Receive your vehicle and begin approved gig work in the Tampa Bay operating area.
