Sedans start at $200/week; small SUVs and vans start at $250/week. All rentals have a one-week minimum. Availability and driver approval apply. Insurance is not included.
Insurance is not included. A security deposit, 7% tax, tolls and applicable agreement fees may apply. The available plan, assigned vehicle and final weekly price depend on current inventory and driver approval.
Can I Use a MyTampaCars Vehicle for Uber or Lyft?
Our vehicles are offered for approved rideshare and delivery work, subject to the rental agreement. Uber and Lyft control their own driver and vehicle approval rules, so you must confirm that your selected vehicle and documents satisfy the platform’s current requirements before driving.
Rideshare Driver Requirements
- An active and approved Uber, Lyft or other accepted gig-platform account
- A valid driver license and all requested documentation
- Acceptable insurance maintained for the entire rental period; insurance is not included
- Only approved drivers listed in the rental agreement may operate the vehicle
- Gig work primarily within Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Polk County
- The required deposit, payment and selected minimum rental term
