Car Rentals for DoorDash, Amazon Flex and Other Apps
Approved drivers may use a MyTampaCars rental for eligible delivery work under the rental agreement. Each delivery platform controls its own account, driver and vehicle rules. Before accepting deliveries, confirm that your account is active and that your selected vehicle and documentation meet the platform’s current requirements.
Who Qualifies for a Delivery Driver Rental?
- Active approval with DoorDash, Uber Eats, Amazon Flex, Instacart, Spark or another accepted gig platform
- A valid driver license and all requested identification or rental documents
- Acceptable insurance maintained throughout the rental; insurance is not included
- Only drivers approved and listed in the agreement may operate the vehicle
- Work primarily within Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Polk County
- Ability to meet the deposit, payment and minimum-term requirements
