Rental Requirements for Tampa Bay Gig Drivers

Everything you need to prepare for a My Tampa Cars rental application. Rentals are exclusively for qualified rideshare and delivery drivers.

Driver eligibility

Valid, unexpired driver’s license
Meet the applicable minimum-age requirement
Active or pending-approved gig-platform account
Information about any recent DUI, reckless-driving conviction, or license suspension

Contact and identity

Current phone number and email
Current Tampa Bay-area address
Emergency contact information
Clear photo/selfie holding your driver’s license for identity verification

Insurance and payment

Proof of active full-coverage insurance meeting rental requirements
Security deposit before vehicle pickup
Rental payment before vehicle pickup
Signed vehicle-rental agreement

Insurance is not included.

Information for gig drivers

Tell us which platform you drive for—such as Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Spark, Instacart, or Amazon Flex—and provide proof that your driver account is active, approved, or being processed.

We’ll also ask how long you need the vehicle, your expected weekly mileage, your desired start date, and your preferred vehicle type.

Availability, approval, taxes, deposit, tolls, and applicable fees may vary.

My Tampa Cars alquila vehículos exclusivamente a conductores calificados de aplicaciones de transporte y entrega en Tampa Bay.

Licencia de conducir válida y vigente
Cumplir con la edad mínima aplicable
Cuenta activa, aprobada o en proceso de aprobación con una plataforma autorizada
Teléfono, correo electrónico y dirección actual en el área de Tampa Bay
Comprobante de seguro de cobertura completa que cumpla con los requisitos del alquiler
Depósito de seguridad, pago y contrato firmado antes de recoger el vehículo
Contacto de emergencia y verificación de identidad

El seguro no está incluido. No ofrecemos alquileres diarios ni vehículos para uso personal común.

Autos: $200 por semana con mínimo de 4 semanas, o $250 por semana con mínimo de 2 semanas. Vans desde $300 por semana. La disponibilidad y aprobación pueden variar.
